100 million PLN for "Promotion of the brand of innovative SMEs"

May 28 this year The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) announced the recruitment "Promotion of the brand of innovative SMEs" financed by the European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021-2027 (FENG) program. The program is a key element of support for companies aspiring to expand their operations to international markets in the context of the largest and most prestigious promotional event in the world - Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai World Exhibition in Japan.

100 million PLN for "Promotion of the brand of innovative SMEs"

Under the "Brand promotion of innovative SMEs (EXPO 2025 Japan)" measure, entrepreneurs can apply for funding for projects whose activities are aimed at strengthening the export potential of SMEs internationally. The funding may be used for, among others: participation in trade fair events as an exhibitor, organization of economic missions, participation in the Polish-Japanese Export Forum and the Investment Forum. The program also includes promotional campaigns targeting target markets such as Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and other ASEAN countries.

According to the provisions, applicants should plan at least one travel mission to one of the above-mentioned economic forums and present a material and financial schedule, taking into account two separate tasks, if they plan more than one promotional activity at the same time. PARP offers co-financing of up to 50% under the European Funds for a Modern Economy program. The competition does not have a minimum or maximum value for qualifying costs. The funds allocated to co-finance projects in this call for proposals amount to PLN 100 million.

What costs are eligible for funding?

1) costs of renting, building and operating an exhibition stand during participation companies at a given fair or exhibition;

2) costs of business trips of employees participating in fairs and missions economic activities, including missions to economic forums (according to the unit rate);

3) costs of preparing and conducting a promotional campaign aimed at target markets indicated in the Promotion Program;

4) indirect costs (7% of eligible direct project costs). Applications must be submitted from May 28 to June 19, 2024.
